Zaporoshian Cossack 1676

Hi planeteers!

Last January I showed to you the figure of a Zapaoroshian Cossack, that I sculpted after a painting by the Russian painter Ilya Repin.

Today I can tell you that I just finished painting ...:

At the very end, I “installed” my figure (using a photo editing program) in the original painting by Ilya Repin.

Actually, there would still be refined a lot - but I'll do after my holiday.

Beautiful, like my cossck is there between his buddies!

Too bad that this beautiful project is over now ....

hi mark really nice work wher did you find this figure , it is areal golden olddie
from the 80,s i think cst &sculpeted by Dave Kennedy , have not seen one in the last 10 years
