Hi everyone

Thought I would start this V bench off as its on my bench now ....from MMM , sculpted by Ofo , a older piece from them but been in my GA a long time so ....

Nameplate sorted ..."A chap should look his best in front of the men " thanks to Nameit for their usual excellent service

Its all based up on a piece from Pete's Bases ..good service there as well as normal

Eyes all done ( cant really see them as he is looking down on mine )

All basecoated ...starting to work on the tunic

Looks to be a well sculpted piece and excellent start with the paint. Always liked the movie "Zulu"......Other than that...."I don't know".
Keep up the good work and stay safe. And as my mother used to say as I walked out the door...."Make sure you wear damn condom".

Hi Folks

Bit of a verbal update ...uniform all finished , cape finished , lions lasso and chain done

Collar all done except the badges ...

After looking at refs and consulting with the oracle known as Richie ....he said the badges should be silvered in keeping with film image

......guess whst I painted it ...goldie/ brass ......so repainting it !

These references show both in use ..the first from a officer worn in 1879 in SA
