Thanks Gordon, I'll be in touch soon when this whole Christmas malarkey is over... :)

As an aside..
I have not seen that photo before, it has an odd feel, the guy on the right looks too 'casual', almost as if he's asked to pose 'as if you were a Para', he looks so detached, considering that they jumped into a hornets nest.. I'd love to find out more about that photo.

It's quite a well known photograph Henk. Lance Sergeant Larry Ansell and his mates were in B Company of John Frosts battalion at Arnhem and were some of the first to arrive in the town . I believe the formed part of Captain Killicks patrol and captured a few German soldiers. There is a great book called ' B Company arrived 'but it's out of print and very rare.
Cheers

Thanks for that Gordon, you learn something new everyday. This book is now on the top of my to get list now.

I can't believe this was 3 1/2 years ago.....

Gordon, which of these are now available? I have some overtime money burning a hole in my pocket, and the recently acquired "Denison" book. :D

The Larry Ansel was 10 years ago!! Time flies..
Ross at MMM has all the paras at www.mitchesmilitarymodels.co.uk now. Im not sure what he has in stock.
I think the 3D running para was about 6 years ago. I produced it in 4 x scales 75mm, 90mm, 120mm and 200mm.
