Completed Critique The Horse King is Dead

Hi Everyone,


I have been working on this one since August 2013...so I am very happy that I have finally finished it (now I can move on to something new). I learnt a lot painting this figure and enjoyed it immensely. It is the Nocturna Storm Griffon - 54mm.

I came across an article that said that the natural enemy of the Griffon is the horse, so I decided that they would battle it out...and the Griffon would win.

hi Tony, thanks for the great comments, believe it or not it was the god father that inspired the addition of the horses head. I had a big space to cover on the base and I was racking my brain on how to do it....I was watching the movie....and there was the scene with the horses head.

Hi Derek, usually i do hitoric figures but this was too beautiful to pass up. I have been away from England for about 10 years now so I had to read your comments twice in order to get the TESCO comment, I had forgotten the scandal that broke out.... But compared to the mad cow disease which was all the rage in England when I was a kid... I will take a bot of horse meat any day!!! Anthony.
