Completed ECW Cavalry charge

Finally the last two mounted figures are finished (virtually). Here are some photos of them in place, but not glued yet - I will check them again in a couple of days and they will be easier to touch up if they are not on the base. If you look carefully you can see the middle horse has all four hooves off the ground, being suspended via the rider's left arm.

their swords will be added at the end - reduce the
risk of damaging them!
only 4 foot soldiers to go ...

That is very very impressive to say the least and more bodies to follow. The middle horse really is terrific flying through the air like that, this is epic.

i feel that the end is in sight - which is encouraging.

Another encouragement is that I was given a 1/16 model of the Universal Carrier for my birthday and decided not to start it until this is finished. Thinking 1/16th scale - does anybody know of any 1/16 scale British Ww2 figures?

They represent soldiers of Norfolks foot, and their rearguard action at the end of the battle of Marston Moor, when ther were charged by Cromwell's cavalry.

thanks for the nice comments. Here is an update - w additional figues added: one musketeer under one of the leaping horses, the second an officer with halbard, about to be trampled!
