Hello folks,
I decided to give some care to these little fellas that have been waiting to be finished and be placed on the battlefield.
I partially finished the bearskin hats, just few details to be done.

cheers

Daniel ,

Lovely figures and everyone looks individual ...as for the painting , really great use of whites so much variation very nicely done indeed.

Any chance of some diorama pictures when they are in place?

Thanks for sharing

Nap

Hi Nap,
The good thing about this scale is that you can go a little bit more extreme with lights and shadows.
I am using the Army painter system, which uses a varnish you can dip the figure in for shades.
Cheers

Beautiful painting, great figures. I have tried painting this scale and I found it hard, looks like I will have to try again.
Bob

Thanks Bob, it is a lot of fun and it will take few figures to really find a technique of your own that you feel confortable with.
Regards

They look fantastic, are these sash and saber castings? I think I will get some 40mm for my grey army, I will have to sneak them past my wife first.
Thanks for posting.
Bob.

Bob, they are from Trident designs, the Miniature service center.
You can talk to Doug The owner, really cool guy.
i sneak figures all the time, that is why i order them to be shipped to work and hide them on my man cave at my house garage ;-)

Hi Daniel
These are very nicely done. I am a recent convert to 40mm scale, as you rightly say you can pack in so much more per square inch.
John

Good to see these little armies again Daniel.
I think that your spell on larger figures has worked well and getting back to smaller soldiers has some how sharpened them up as well.
Looking really good my friend.
All the very best,
Keith

beautifull work.
I wonder isn't it boring to paint the same colors over and over again.

Marc

Thanks Marc, i don't think i have time to get bored with these fellas,, i just work at a maximum of 6 per batch.
It takes the same amount of time to work on a 54mm.
Plus, i do paint king of a production line, for example, all 6 bear fur hat at a time, all faces at a time, and when i feel tired of these chaps i jump to my 54mm figs.
Thanks for passing by.
Best regards
