WIP 40mm Trident , Maison Du Roi

Hello Folks,
As i try to finish my many projects and decided to get these little fellas from Doug Carrocio at Tridrnt designs ( The miniature Service center) , something i want it to ge tfor a while and while i am working my diorama in 28mm perhaps i will make these chaps at the battle of Fontenoy, for now i just testing the waters with these 40's and as always i really like them
I have replace some of the heads for the officers, i will paint one in the Gardes Suisses and one in gardes Françaises , another officer of the French and one swiss and one french trooper.
I have clipped the heads of the officers since i was not really happy with the looks on its face, i cutted the head portion and adapted the hat to a spare head of front rank figurines, that gives me the option of different faces, unlike those officers, the troopers comes up with plug in heads and they are perfect.
Primed with self etching primer, layed the reds and blues for now.

Fusiliers ( French/swiss) alnost done.
The Officers are almost done, flags have not arrived yet.

This together with the excellent brushwork really bring them to life and is always great to see

We have moved to a place called Dulverton in Exmoor National Park , beautiful area ....not that I have seen much of it s we are surrounded by boxes , lots of books and little boxes !!

Desparately trying to find our phone that's somewhere !! .....and putting new bookcases for my mancave together ....trying to find the bench that's hidden under all the books ...
