Jai, the ground base will be added later, there are a lot of groundworks to be done.

Ohhhhh, yes, you know, now that you've mention, you are right!, i wonder if that had a base when i opened the box .

I have just looked at the box, for some reason it does not bring the bottom base on the gates

I believe so, but an easy fix.

I was abke to find a matching piece to add at the bottom of the gates, repainted them and place them temporarily in that position.
Added some ground work and placed the swiss guard inside, the french guard at the entrance door looking at the sergeant who is adressing the guardsman.

I have received the aristocrats i have ordered from foundry yedterday, one of them i am converting into King Louis XV, i have replaced the rather fat head by a more "Snobby" French likedness of the Monarch, made the wig with greenstuff and added the blue band and the cross of st spirit on its chest and lower end of the band.
I have bought sone trees and added to the base, some pkants, ground and cobblestone ground.

Gardes Francaises done, still waiting for the flags and paintimg 2 drummers at the moment.
Placed the guards as King Louis XV just exited the Chateau, walked down the stairs and an officer is saluting the Monarch and presenting the troops for review afterwards
