You are all wondering why I have posted this.
I was one of those who ordered and paid for this this set and waited for its release. I read all the comments, the ups and downs on PF and I waited.
In May this year I received an email from Ellie's miniatures saying that they working to solve all the problems and the set would be send with in a couple of months, excellent news I thought and I waited.
So I got a surprize at the end of October, I haven't received the kit yet but found this on the new Ellie's miniatures webpage stating that there was kits available.. Screenshot 1.png
On the 1st November I email Ellie's miniatures asking them to either send the kit I had paid for in February or please refund the money.
Some two and a half weeks later, I still have not even received a reply from them.

I would be interested in knowing if anybody else has received their kits from Ellie's or like me still waiting.

Thanks for reading

Kevin

Hi Kevin,I received my figures in May after sending a lot of mails

Sorry that this whole catalogue of problems isn’t over. I received mine in May but was preparing a whole course of action had I not done so (see earlier threads). I still think so much chasing by the customer and so many unmet deadlines are unacceptable.

I deleted the link to Ellie’s website as it’s one company I shall never deal with again and I’ve even offered my 20% off voucher to anyone who wants it.

I hope you get this resolved quickly.

Cheers

Huw

Hi Guys

As Huw says sorry to see this rearing its head again.........not seen anything from Ellies since August on FB ..........

Saw Ian at Euro Ministures Expo but he was just visiting as a punter

Are they still going as a company , I hope so as they had some nice releases ..especially busts !

Sorry to learn that this sad story still isn`t over for everyone who put a pledge back then in 2017. I got my copy ( no. 10) in April after several futile requests via PM ,Email and postings on threads of this forum. Given that the whole idea to start a project like this was promoted by Ian Burton as a new way to back him as a producer struggling with the problem of recasts the result for many of his supporters is sobering.
Did you get a number in the line up of pledgers from Ian?
Cheers, Martin

Frankly I think this whole episode has been a very sorry affair and has been an unedifying event on this forum. This whole episode represented the nadir of what I thought was a wonderful forum - how wrong was I. I received my figures at the time I arranged with Ian, and delivered when I asked them to be. Notwithstanding, Ian has been his own worst enemy in not being active in keeping all who ordered a copy of the Dance with Death abreast of what was happening. He fell down badly in the respect. Those who were prepared to give Ian the benefit of the doubt and wait, eventually received our copies. However the dreadful efforts of those who sought sink him on this forum - Mick's Micks, Stu's Troop 54 and Tommi's wife, was disgraceful, and one could be forgiven thinking they sought to destroy his business. It simply demonstrated how a few people on this forum can stoop so low, and how many can complain over having to wait. The administrators should have nipped it in the bud.

Having fought in a war, where we bartered with God each morning to give us another day of life, I despair at those who have denigrated Ian for not delivering your product in a timely fashion. Get a bloody life and be thankful you eventually receive you copies!! If all you can complain about is not getting your copies in time, then you have a great life. Try getting your arse shot off by a company of North Vietnamese who were bloody good soldiers.

I have no intention of purchasing Mick's Micks, Stu's Troop 54 or Tommi's products after their efforts destroy Ian's business. Their appalling efforts is not what this forum is about, and I wouldn't have any of them in the trench with me in time of war. They showed they lacked any sense of loyalty or compassion. Rather I would think this forum is about supporting each other through thick or thin, and recognising that **** happens. They showed otherwise. The fact that Ian delivered his copies of Dance of Death is good enough for me.

Delete this if you like Nap, but I believe in a sense of fair play and if the man delivers what he said he would, despite the delays, that is good enough for me.

That's fair enough and you got your stuff on time as you said, what about the other people who didn't get their stuff and paid out their hard earned cash, what about the people who put trust in him and were let down very badly, you my friend only see one side of the argument,I've known mick a good number of years as I have stu and tommi and I'm coming on here to defend them,as for getting a life, everybody is happy on here, were all a good bunch and get on well, mick is one of the nicest blokes you'll ever meet and as a close friend of mine I won't stand by and have him slagged off and the same goes for tommi and stu as well,
I've got on well with Ian in the past, but the plain simple matter is this,he's let people down badly and people have lost money, off course people are going to be pissed off.
As for Joanna,I don't think you should be speaking badly about her unless she's part of this forum to defend herself which she isn't.
I've got a life and so have most other people,we don't need you blasting off on here telling us to get one, perhaps when you lose some hard earned money you'll realise why people are upset
