Thanks for the kind words, Nap. Here are the colors that I’m using for gold lace and braid. Everything on this bust is mixed from the following colors:
Vallejo 70.824 - German Camp Orange Ochre
Vallejo Panzer Aces 337 - Highlight German Black
Reaper 09143 - Yellowed Bone
Vallejo 70.883 - Silvergrey

Continuing progress on General Gudin. Still quite a bit of work remaining on the tunic lace and buttons, and have just started on the bicorne. The latter is quite tall and impressive, and will certainly make this piece stand out when completed. A beautiful 200mm bust from Alexandros Models.

Getting close to the finish on this one. A few minor details and touch ups remaining, and this one will be completed. We’ll try to get some better photos taken and repost in a few days.

The bicorne is certainly imposing, but it’s height is clearly representative of some of the period illustrations of general officers. It’s hard to imagine wearing something like that!
