Here are some photo's of my completed NCO of 2. Bayer. Schweres-Reiter-Regt. c.1900 This Regiment were garrisoned in Landshut Bavaria.
This is a 54mm white metal figure by Hecker & Goros and my first mounted figure.

Well done! you have made an excellent job of this figure
I like the dog touch, gives it a humerous story
I'll bet you cant wait to paint another mounted figure and there is a lot out there!
The colours are excellent particulary the blue uniform all in all a very good result

Thanks John. Because the figure is looking down from the saddle I needed to find a focus for his attention. At first I thought another figure but after a look through the spares box I found a plastic Historex dog that had an uncanny resemblence to our own pet so in she went.

Thanks Dan. I really enjoyed this little figure. The prints in The Kaisers Army in Colour are a real inspiration. Tony Schnurr of the Kaiser's Bunker was also very kind and sent me a uniform plate of this regiment.
