This a conversion of El Greco's 1/10 "Rebel Yell" that I'm in the middle of, He's being converted into a Confederate Standard Bearer, as you can see I've added the right arm and slightly extended the left arm too so rank markings can be added to the arm, scultping has been done with a milliput base and a magisculpt outer layer. I'll be adding a belt with a revolver stuffed in it.
Also added a blanket roll in milliput, the flag pole will rest over his right shoulder with flag draping down behind, I'm not sure if the flag will have the confederate Stars & Bars or maybe the 1st Texas Infantry red, white & blue sections with a white lone star in the blue, That depends on Kevin Peart/Nap's choice as this is a conversion for him.
All comments very welcome
Cheers
Jimbo.

Jim, What do you think of the original kit? Is it cast in resin or metal?

I like what you have done with the kit. Looking forward to seeing it completed!

Thanks Guys, Much appreciated.
Terry the kit is very well casted in a light grey resin with good clean detail, I think it's well worth the money.

Jim, Thanks for posting the type of material used to cast the bust. I too like the detail in the figure and expression. Your addition of an arm and bedroll is neat. I am looking forward to seeing the bust completed. Lucky guy who gets this one.

PS< would love to see your work in person at our show in February 18-20 in Atlanta, GA. If you have not been to an out of town show, you will be pleasantly surprised. Good folks here, great hospitality, lots of great work, and folks willing to share their talent. And lots of History!

Hi Jim, nice conversion work , will you be adding letters to the belt buckle or perhaps stars to the top of the kepi ? Looking forward to seeing him progress.

Cheers Ken

Thanks guys glad you like him.
Ken, Yep I'll be adding "CSA"to the belt buckle but not sure about the kepi, I think Kev wants it left blank.
cheers

Jim, excellent conversion work and nice work on the flag, Kev should be very pleased with the end result.

Cheers Ken

Thats a very nice looking bust you have created Jim, I like the raggedy look to the soldier with the bandaged hand and pistol in belt.

Very nice job mate,

Steve
