Seneca War Chief Kaintwakon
Known as Cornplanter 1730's-1836
1/10 scale resin bust
This bust will be released by United Empire Miniatures. The story of the Chief is worth reading, and to read about Cornplanter google his name. cornplanterfinished.jpgCornplanter2.jpg

Nice bust but an old man. 106 years old according the the plinth. Actually he was born in 1750 not 1730

There appears to be 2 schools of thought here.

One says he was born in 1750. The second says the actual date is, somewhere between 1730-1740, possibly 1732 in a small town in New York State.
I have attached a link that may explain it a little better!

Cheers
Carl

Ok Carl, obviously there is some discussion here. If you are right though He was exceptionally old When he died. Nice bust all the same and I am not going to argue about the years

No worries my friend!
You were correct to question the date, because there seems to be no accurate date of birth for Cornplanter. I do know he was very old when he died in 1836! Which is probably the only confirmed date, the date of his death.
