 Kitchen is the only place with decent daylight this time of year. It is the Frank's Viking figure you are correct, thanks for looking in
Steve

Fine start Steve. Looking forward to seeing it progress.
A great figure from Frank and Carl, it's surprising you don't see many completed.
Got mine as soon as it came out, cleaned it, filled it and primed it and put it away. I'll have to get round to it soon, it's just too good to leave.
Cheers
Derek

Cheers Del and Carl Oh yeah forgot to thank Carl for assembling it for me I like to paint but not keen on faffing with assembly and this one needed a fair bit of tinkering with :nailbiting:

Nice start Steve.
The nag looks like fine heavy horse with a winter coat effect.
There is a lot of potential for you pull out of this beauty Mate.
Enjoy.
Cheers,
Keith

Looking good so far. I've never painted a horse any bigger than 28m wargame style. It's just one of those silly things that gets built up in your mind then it's a real block. (maybe thats just me and these are the ramblings of a mad man). My mental health aside, Im looking foward to seeing it come together while I try get past my horse block!Keep it comming mate.

Take the plunge Chris I like oils for horses as they blend well and give a nice horsey sheen. Colour wise Zane the Russ seem to go for bright colours which will work well with the snowy base I think

Bit more done on this one now, the main colours a blocked in and the horse is more or less done, bit more tidying up on it's shading left. I think I'll go for a green cloak but open to any other ideas for it, any comments welcome
