I have finished the rest of the figures to my little scene. They are all scratched, apart from the horse and musket, which both are Michael Roberts Ltd items. The horse is however slightly converted to fit the scenery, as is the Brown Bess musket. It is suppose to resemble an early 1700-era Swedish musket. Heads, hands and feets are a mix of Hornet or Historex stuff, some converted.
Thanks for looking.

More spikes will be added to the bat after I have painted the figure.
I alternated the face on the old woman by reworking the eyes and making them larger to pick out more drama in the character. I also sculpted a more defined chin to give the face the classic characteristic of an old hag. Of course I also added a wart to the chin
And finally the victim. A Swedish dragoon being ambushed by the angry peasants.
Masterful sculpting, absolutely marvellous. Even in this raw state, the positioning of the figures and the cleanliness of the detail work are making this one of the stand-out vignettes.
Can't wait to see it painted.
What a great little vignette, the action is done to a tee. A moment of high drama captured and frozen in time.
I'm really looking forward to completion.
Scotty.
Blimey - occasionally you see something that makes you want to take up train spotting! Just fabulous work (I thought it was just the one figure you were doing!)
Can't wait to see further progress (Presumably you'll be adding a few hairs to the hags wart later?)
Cheers
Paul
Hi Johan,
Magnificent. This works on so many levels - not only the set up, interaction and dynamics but also, the sense of fear, urgency, determination, stealth, terror, desperation, panic....it has the lot. Well done, I love it. Looking forward to the rest of the scene, the groundwork and the painting.
cheers
Richie
