Yet another scarlet uniformed bust, this time from CGS Miniatures via Steve Kirtley.
It is a nice crisply moulded 1/9th bust of a soldier of the 19th Regt. of Foot, The Green Howards during the Crimean War.

I cleaned him up and primed him the same time as the Gordon Highlander bust, some that saves time and primer as I use a rattle can and you waste such a lot of primer cleaning out the nozzle pipe.

He has some lovely face detail.

I have to admit I have been doing the odd bit of painting while waiting for the paint to dry on the Highlander, like his eyes, mouth and shako.

So that's it for today, Artist's oils time tomorrow morning with that lovely face.

Great start, Geoff. You certainly are prolific. I wish I could turn them out like you do. Figures are on my bench so long that I lose interest before I’m done.

Thanks Tom, I try and make time every day where possible, even if only an hour, I am retired and due to health issues the cold and windy conditions do not generally allow me to go out much that's why I'm not modelling much in the Summer. Just keep plodding on mate, think of the end result and the joy of seeing it finished.
