Actually there are four books. The fourth is Like Angry Wolves, Culloden Moor. I have three. Still looking for the one on the Zulu War.

I have all in the series ...ALL are excellent both in the written word and of course the colour illustrations

There are actually 9 of those Windrow and Greene "Silver Series" books, all excellent. I have them all, titles include coverage of Albuera, the Jacobite rebellion (1745), Light Brigade, NW Frontier, Omdurman and The Somme, plus the Waterloo volume and the Thin Red Line.

A bit more done today, sadly the pics doesn't do the bust justice. Work to do on the backpack and the small cap pouch on his waist.

Glued head in place, he looks human now.

Hi Geoff ,
Love the face , full of character could do with more like him . I' v got him to go along side MMM " Sgt Hakeswill 33rd Regt ".
I always try to have "2", on the go , so while the paint is drying on one I work on the other. ( Oils take time to dry !)
