Hi All
My in laws are over from NZ at the mo so decided to give them a giggle by presenting them with these two wee treasures from Hasslefree Miniatures. Lot of fun doing them and will be the first not going to live in my cabinet. They are 28mm metal painted in acrylics. Hasslefree have shown to...
Brilliant idea fellas! I would be happy to participate with whatever figure was chosen. I think part of the challenge for me would be to paint a genre and manufacturer that I wouldnt usually in order to break from the comfort zone and learn along the way. Looking forward to it already!

Yes, I think the neck is too short and the legs are too skinny for the body perhaps. Fitting the rifle the hands proved a nightmare as you have picked up! Oh well, always learning.

Tim,
If you can spare an hour or two, zip down to Bath and see Dave Freeman at Bonapartes. It is a gem of a shop, helpful as and a big range of figures. I recently spent 3 hrs there, had to drag myself out before my VISA melted!

You are not on your own!
I also have the complete Andrea set - how sad!
I must say though, a lot of the colours away from the base ones can easily be mixed but it does save some time and of course looks impressive! The main thing is that they are used to paint great figures.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, really enjoyed my day including the big surprise of a medal :o Couldnt believe it! The hobby wont feel quite so solitary now I have put faces to names. Looking forward to repeating the experience at more shows hopefully. Pity none are a bit closer to me but no...
Have started on this 120mm Firing Line Resin Kit of a modern Brit Squaddie and feel I may have started turning a corner with painting the dreaded flesh. Hope so anyway, so long as I can see some improvement I guess on each figure.
I think I need a break from the p*ss*n DPM! I start seeing double...
In order to fund my wayward Visa card this coming weekend at Aldershot, I have just listed some of the Army on Ebay. Will ship to anywhere.
Thanks for looking:

Yes, I really rate the Pegaso/Romeo kits, not just awesome sculpting/casting but interesting topics and poses too. A pleasure to bring to life with paint.

Hi guys & gals
Finished off this portly chap last night. Awesome Pegaso quality kit as usual. Painted with acrylics and oils for flesh. Used the kit base and padded it our with milliput and some stones to cover the plinth. Used PE ferns for the first time.
