    Metal Used for Andrea Figures

As per there lead content I have found the metal to be lighter almost a bit zinc like. I have worked on their 100mm mounted Hussar and its way light, the material also seams to have a finer grain. Cheers Paul

    Pebeo medium

Pebeo The medium seems to be a compound that actually has a bit of body to give the effect of dimension he has been using a humbrol thinner to sculpt or manipulate it. From some of the translations I have done the medium seems to have an acrylic element to it. which makes no sense to use a...

    Vallejo Brush-restorer.

Hi Janne the Winsor Newton stuff is liquid . Keep in mind that its meant for artist with larger brushes than our so a bottle will last forever. The small bottle (approx 1/4 litre) is probably about 4$usd which would probably keep you going for the next couple of years. I do afterwards use the...

    Napoleonic Green

Thanks Einion, What do you feel is the most appropriate way to take the highlights brighter yellows( cads) or a naples yellow, I have had some input by others to use a portrait pink. To me it gave me weird effects that I'm not sure if I like the results. The look I would like to get is to...

    Napoleonic Green

I have been looking for a relatively close Napoleonic green in oils , The color that I have been using for the last years ,and I will admit that it is on the dark side was a Holbien terra vert but seems really grainy while painting 54s . Prussian green is on the dark but really easy to bring...
