As far as "darkness" goes, this version looks fine. There is as much variance with black skin as there is with "white" skin, maybe more. There is Jackie Robinson black skin and Halle Berry black skin. These may be a poor examples for non-Americans, but most people would know Halle Berry. Men...

Pushing the envelope here all the way---just a great thing to see. They are all superb works of minature art. I like thse better than the real ones I own. Brilliant. Let me know if you ever want to part with one... Bravo!

Rick, FYI: When I used to be involved with a major monster /sci-fi convention entrepeneur, the "experts' I met told me that the creature was actually gold in color...for the black and white filming purposes...how true it was, I have no idea. I guess gold films up better or something in B&W. Or...

Great flick...great monster, great music...great babe (Julia Adams?); and a really great looking figure happening here-- the best. Nice job!! The Creature should be "King of All Monsters " instead of Godzilla, with dopey Raymond Burr inserted in scenes and he wasn't even in it originally.

Really professional looking stuff...beautiful. The flute player is just a great idea...way to push the envelope. Off the hook on the subject matter! What can that fringe be made of on the flute player? I've tried making them out of Sculpey and even A+B epoxy...they just don't hold up without...

As stated in a previous post there is an excellent version that has been around (1/12 scale, I think)for years, at least 15, a fabulous likeness of McDowell, with a bust of Beethoven on a pedestal...and the sculptor hasn't had any licensing problems with it at all, to the best of my knowledge.
