I too spent the night in with my parter, wine & nibbles, sherry for her too.
Open fire and a little tele and reading.
The simple things in life are always more satisfying.
Happy New Year to all.
Best wishes and health.
I started out just admiring these, but not to the view of buying, but I'm slowly coming around to the idea now.
Great way to have fun with miniatures but still keeping in theme with the historical side, lovely idea.

Looks amazing from the single image on my iPhone, would you have other pictures for us to view? The lighting looks very effective.
Always wanted to do a box diorama.
Thanks Karl
Very nice mate, I'd be happy with that. So much so I've not posted anything yet, only in private PM. Perhaps the lighting is a little dark but other wise it looks good to my eyes.
Very nice work, very smooth.
The more I see beautiful work like this of Napoleon the more I'd like to paint him myself , though in what form, a figure like this or a bust I not sure.
Thanks for sharing , Karl
Simon again I agree with the others, I'm actually building the Roman Legionnaire as we speak, quality not great but if you want a challenge then maybe give one a shot.
The detail isn't brill but if it's for personal collection it may well be suffice.
Lots of seems to fill which is the biggest...
Another beautiful piece, right within my interests too, awesome!
Carl you really do have a talent for this form of art. Thanks , I want one of these.
Karl
Just perfect. Great detail and composition, painting outstanding. The quality of work, competition standard.
I only know a little history of WW1 but to me it's looks pretty good.
Thanks for showing here. Karl.
I happen to be reading a book on The Legions of Rome Carl, I'll have a look into it as there were many . Stand by I'll see what I can come up with . Karl
