Crowns come out for different reasons: short tooth- poor retention, heavy bite, wrong type of cement for long term, decay, poor fit, etc. If you are recementing with over the counter cement it won't resist wash out if the crown fits...

    POI. With single lenses, the higher the magnification the closer the focal length. Surgeon's magnifiers are actually telescopes, i.e. two lenses. That allows working distances to be set for the surgeon's preference. They also cost $1000.00 or more.
