Another thing you could try is to start with a paper napkin or tissue and gradually coat it with uv resin. I had a lot of luck making a draped tapestry with this method. Slowly work in a fold, coat it with the resin, hit it with a uv flashlight, and continue. I used to use pva glue but it takes...

Hi Jaybo, those type of applicators work well. I’ve got a homemade applicator made from an electric fly swatter following a how-to video on YouTube. It works fairly well. Static grass looks great for smaller scale figures. Gerald

I used to use it. You can get quite a convincing coarse soil effect by pouring a wet layer then sprinkling a layer of dry powder on top. The powder absorbs the water from the poured layer. Let it dry completely then brush off the excess powder. You’ll be left with a nice soil texture. But now I...
