Maybe its the perspective of the photo but the rapier looks more like a saber. Is it just a bad angle of the photo, warped resin or is the sword not the traditional rapier? Otherwise, this is an awesome figure with lots of character and great detail. One I will definitely look for.

I like the idea of the door because it is a)true to the original image, b) it funnels the eye into the vignette of figures and acts as a frame. c) it is the pop of color in an earth toned scene.

Good point Mark, but I suppose it could be argued that if the soldier did not wear chainmail over the gambeson or aketon then the wear, dirt and grime may not pattern the material as you illustrate.

I love the figure. I like that the handler has 2 canteens (at least it looks like he has 2). The Dog bothers me though. The ears are folded back wrong, the tail is in the wrong position for the dog's attitude and posture and there are some issues with the proportions and musculature of the legs...

For those in the US, Dan's Dinosaurs is carrying these, but I think they may be a drop ship from Italy.

Not sure of the scale but the Ceratosaur is 12" in length. The Diplaudocus is 23" and the Spinosaur is 10"

Not familiar with the use files for 3D printing as I probably should be, I was wondering if a program like this : http://www.daz3d.com/people?p=4 is usable for the process? Or are the files specific for the transfer to the printing process?
