Hey, I dry brush over the complete face with the Naples yellow , I then mix the Naples yellow with white and do another pass and keep going getting lighter and lighter to and almost pure white. Also I do eyes in Humbrol enamels.Just to be different HTH.

Thanks for the reply Tony, I'm actually looking at 1/35 as I have a Rommel body (Dragon) but no decent head for it. I'm pretty sure I can get the Tamiya figure. The one which is the scaled down 120mm version not the one which is part of the very old generals set. Chris

As I'm slowly working my way through completing a couple of Verlinden busts. Dumb question. Is it ok to use the supplied plinth alone.or am I better to mount the both parts on a piece of wood. I guess I'm asking for ideas thanks. Chris
