08 MFCA group photo

Hi everyone,
It's less than a month now until the 2008 MFCA show.
And once again I'd like to try and organize a group photo for all the members of planetFigure, Historicus Forma and Timelines.
Last year a few of us talked about trying to make it something more than everyone rallying for the photo and then dashing off again to buy more stuff
One idea was to try to set it up for the hospitality room on Friday night. Another was to try to set aside a half hour or an hour on Saturday morning. So we can spend some time introducing ourselves to each other.
So, what do you think? Either one of these sound good? Or any other ideas?
Let me know and we'll get things set up.

Count me in.. just let me/us know about what time. It would be nice
to meet and talk to everyone. Good idea.

Hopefully I will take a "better" picture than last year.

Count me in, Craig. I like the Saturday morning option. It may be easier to organize people at the venue with an announcement from one of the show staff. Either way is cool. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Good to hear that you'll be there again.

Over on Timelines, Scott has offered to help us out so an announcement should be do-able. Plus, I'm going to make up a fresh sign for the entrance table to let folks know the plan.

Little overall response so far but Saturday morning seems the best for the photo. But I'm still hoping that I'll get to meet up with folks at the hospitality room on Friday evening as well.

I like Pat's idea... but I won't stay in the hospitality room too late.. but
I may pop in there.

Hi Dee,
My friends usually don't stay very late at the hospitality rooms either. And people tend to show up there at widely varying times. If we use Pat's idea of 9:00PM as a target time, maybe we can get a nice size group together to chat. And the group photo on Saturday morning to get the biggest group together.

I remembered that you were coming to the show again this year.

Thanks Craig. I can assure you it will be a pleasure for me too. Yes in fact I will have one bust. It's the Waffen SS which I painted for a friend a while ago. it's in my v-bench if you havn't seen it yet.

I'm going to suggest we do the group photo at 10:00am on Saturday.
And we're trying to have a little get together in the hospitality room Friday evening at 9:00pm.
That's assuming there will be a hospitality room again this year
