Hi all,

Havent posted anything for a while and this is the latest piece i have completed which represents a British paratrooper prior to dropping into Arnhem 1944.It is one of two figures i am doing as an Arnhem theme and the other is a 1/16 figure of a brit para in Arnhem.

All comments and critique welcome.

Nice work Steve,

Plenty of lovely detail on the parachute and the helmet.

The face doesn't quite look right to me; the nose looks too long.

Otherwise its brilliant and I'm looking forward to seeing the second one.

Cheers

Tim...Thankyou for looking and for the comments much appreciated.

Vic...Good to see you on here again mate and thanks for the support.

thanks

Steve

Steve,

Nice detail work! I also like the camo netting on the helmet. Great job!

If I might offer a suggestion.....One thing that is a very common oversight is regarding the eyes. When viewed from the side, the upper lid should come out further past the lower lid. In fact, you should be able to see an imaginary angled line from the lower lid up to touch the upper lid and finally touching the brow. Make sense? The upper lid on the sculpt looks a touch flat which results in a slightly oriental look. Easily fixed with some extra putty!

Again, great job!

Matt

Matt thankyou for the time to look and comment and yes you are correct with what you are saying regarding the eyelids,i wil be correcting this and ensuring i follow your step for the future.

Thankyou

Steve

Hi Steve,

I'm following your thread closely mate; it's very helpful. Your Para is looking great.

Is there much more to do before you dust off your paint brushes??

Cheers
