I tried to put some rough texture on the greatcoat
to give some sort of a contrast between the coat
and the zeltbahn...

Hi Taesung

Your figure looks great I will be buying a couple of these. I can't make a putty ball round, so take this as just some feeback from someone who can't sculpt at all. The hand without the weapon looks a little square around the fingers area

Great work
Paul

This is looking great, I love the way he is holding the weapon, gives it real dynamics and a ready for anything pose. The face also looks very young. Awesome
Ben

Excellent Taesung congrats,a figure that I'll paint as soon as you produce it! Tell me you use a dressed model for manequin? Because those wrinkles on the clothes are so real, it's like you have shrunk an 1/1 zeltbahn into an 1/16 scale! The fallschirmjager subject by the way sounds great, what do you think about an Italian paratrooper?

Thanks for the compliments, guys.

I have my wife take pics of my dressed up with
similar clothes I can find in my closet. I use these
for reference. This saves a lot of time guessing around. :)

As for the right hand with glove, the middle 2 fingers are
slightly bent inward thus giving an impression that it is
all same length from certain angles. Also, the finger sleeves
of the gloves are never the same length as the actual fingers. :)

Wow - what a beautiful piece of work Taesung.

I love that he looks youthful in his face. When reading about ww2 it always amazes me how young so many of the troops were and its not often reflected.

Looking forward to the fallschirmjager - hoping you will post work in progress shots for that figure too.

cheers
Mat

Fantastic!

It's easy to forget that the photo's you've posted are at least 75% bigger than they are in real life!

People forget that even 1/16th is tiny!

Cheers,
Jon.
