Hi all
After almost a year of not painting due to a house move and no man cave, I am now up and running with a desk in the loft (happy happy!!).

So, here we have my spin on Jaguar's 1/35th Stalingrad's last stand. I've added the 1st floor girders, machine equipment and staircase which is all scratch built from bits from my 'bits' box.
Painted with Vallejo and Life colour acrylics and the use of some airbrushing.
I have changed the heads on a couple of the figures and added field telephone.

The photos might be a bit rubbish as they were taken on my phone as my eldest son has managed to lose the charger the camera!!

Nice to be back....please be gentle with me as I have paintbrush rust but will be glad to get constructive criticism.

Thanks,
Sam Brayne

This was the Jaguar vignette that got me into painting figures. Superb job(y)(y) The different heads really make them stand out and the additional scratch built items are fantastic.

If those are the results you get with “paintbrush rust” I must leave mine out in the rain. Fantastic – not my era, but fantastic.

Hello Sam. . . . I do not like Green Eggs and Ham. . .
Well, enough of THAT foolishness. Wow, such an exciting
and creative presentation. Your time off definitely
served you well, podna'. This composition has so much
eye candy, so much interest in all those different shapes
that are all tied together re shades and tones, and placement
in the composition. But the figures are still the central thing
we focus on most!
Your other aspects of this setting do not take the viewer's
eye away from the figures. You sir, are an artist.
Just lovely work,
The Miami Jayhawk

Hi all
Thanks very much for taking the time to comment .
it was great fun to build and paint , German ww11 is defiantly my main interest but next on the work bench is something completely different .... 1/9 spacemarine bust .
Thanks sam

Tasty. Very tasty. Great painting on the figures, and all that extra scratchbuilding has turned it into something a bit special. I like it a lot.
