Thanks Ookami, Ive done a number of camels in the past, various scales, 120mm/90mm/54mm and even down to 48th scale, having lived in UAE for many years and spending a lot of time in the desert (in a 4x4 instead of on a camel) I collated a massive amount of photos/ reference material. Ive had a number of request asking if Ill be putting the 48th scale animals into production, which Im considering. Do you think there will be a market for 1/35th scale camels also (realise verlinden already has some)

Well is probably, on scale 1/32 ( or 54 mm ) there is not too much animals to use as mounts since rigth know is used more for fantastic miniatures than historic, i beleibe that animal on that scale woulkd sale but is just my opinion.

Also do you have on sale a copy of a camel for 1/32 or 54 mm scale?? i will be deligthet to get one as size reference, i do the majority of my sculpting on this scale.

Thanks Ookami, thanks for your advice
Don't have any cast yet, but seriously looking at the possibility, will keep you informed

Hi Paulie100,
I, for one, am very keen to acquire a copy of the 54mm camel if you do decide to put them into production :woot:.
Cheers!
Kenneth :joyful:.

Could that be Kenneth from Singapore????

Making enquiries about getting some cast, hope to have news soon (for those interested in 48th scale camels, have a very limited supply)

Hi Paul,
How are things going for you now ? Sorry, just saw your profile after I had started a PF conversation thread with you, and than I realized, oops .
Any way, I still have those camels which you sculpted and gave to me many moons ago :woot:.
Will the new ones be the same size or slightly smaller (I always felt the earlier ones that you had made were a bit on the larger side; of course, I could be wrong :wacky:)
Good to get back in contact again, my long-lost friend :joyful:.
Cheers!
Kenneth.

no worries my friend, I don't have any of the old ones left, so hard to estimate the size of previous ones versus the new ones.... however they should be about the right scale size (after 4 years in Dubai, I managed to gain a lot of reference material, even found a dead camel in the desert once, but didn't smell too good......actually they are like that even when alive) Ill drop you a PM
