1/48 Luffwafe pilot

Hi I found this pilot from the scratch box in my local hobby store, and the guy just gave it to me for free. I painted him with enamel paint, which why the face does not really look as nice as using the oil paint. And since I have not builded any WWII German plane yet, I only displayed him on a little stand with the grass ground.

Please give my some comment on it, thanks
(It think my finish is a bit shinny which is not supposed to be sine fabric cloth is flat finish right?)

(this picture I tried to close up to the detail of the insignia on the hat but the picture turns out a bit blurry)
