Hi, Geoff
If the homemade cakes help create such excellent work, I would like to have some of those cakes.
However, I expect that it your skill and talent. Thanks for sharing the tips above.

Very nice work Geoff.
For anyone interested, this series of sketches comes from an article by John Pradarelli titled
'Painting a Face: Oils over Acrylics
It can be found on Historicus Forma:-
http://hfmodeling.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=features&file=view&artid=1993&page=1
The sketches can be found on pages 6 and 7 of the article.
Cheers,
Andrew
Hi Geoff. ....I've just started this one as well ...for my reference I'm using Osprey French Revolutionary Infantry 1789 - 1802....some of the illustrations show two bands of white.....from the outside ..in....white. red. white. blue centre......hope this helps...all the best. Mike..
The bust size is suitable for working and experiencing different tones than usual, good work.
Santi.

Wow Geoff, you’re not hanging around. Great start, love the work on the face. Coming together really well.
Neal.
Cracking on with this Geoff..all looking good so far, I love the scale of this bust, the detail looks good and just enough of a uniform, hope there's more to come in the range from Stu/Stormtroopers
