I think I remember this figure being on the cover of a Military Modelling magazine, but can't seem to find that particular issue. Any ideas, guys?

I think it was made by Warriors.

this figure was sculpted by John Rosengrant. From what I heard, DML was going to release it as part of their 1/9 scale plastic/motocycle series. It was never released but there are some floating around. A guy in California I bought a resin copy from, told me he was given the sculpt (he was apparently part of or associated with Kirin/Warriors in the old days). Not sure how much of what he told me was true. I am sure there are people on here who know the full or real story. I do remember seeing something when DML announced it as part of their 1/9 series.

Thanks for the info. I think I remember seeing this figure on the cover of an old military modeling magazine... Anyone have a clue what is the magazine and which issue is it in?

If I am not mistaken, it was s Military Modeler, pictures from a contest. Couldn't even begin to tell you which issue though. I don't think it was on teh cover though, just inside, a smaller photo.

I am definately not an expert on this and I may be incorrect also. Maybe someone else will remember and chime in. I sold all my old MM magazines or I would take a look for you. I will look in my Historical Minatures magazines and see if I can find that photo. I know I have seen it also though.
