Lovely Jim.

It's going to be a corker.

I was playing about with some old verlinden medieval bits trying to do something similar.

I shall have to have mine emerging from a 'wall plaque' instead I think.

Looking forward to more Jim.

Paul.

Very engaging piece. I have been tinkering with the same idea using a different trumpeter and your base is just what I had in mind but could not find. Is the base your own creation or a commercial base (rather looks like two combined)? If so where did you find it?

Hi
Yes the base is my own work, it's two pieces of yew cut and shaped to suit and then fixed together, thanks for your comments much appreciated(y)
Cheers
Jim

What great vision Jim.
Very good work and out of six possibles not a single leg in sight. K. P. will be pleased
Merry Christmas Mate
Keith

Hi Keith many thanks mate and a very Merry Christmas to you also.
Kev's not seen it up close yet so coming from me it's going to confuse him as there's no legs involved:LOL:
Cheers
Jim

Ha Ha Ha I love it. I would pay good money to see Kevin's face.
All the best
Keith

Hi Keith ...well I have seen it today and send me the money and I will let you see my face ....this is going to be a great piece of work from El Jimbo's emporium

He also went crazy on a couple of busts with a dremel and a Hoover ( don't ask!!..lol ) ..ready for a couple of "Scotyish projects"

You Guy's never fail to amaze.
I agree that Jimbo's trumpeter is a show stopper. .....money's in the post Mate.
Very eager to follow your Picasso'esk Tartan period.
Seriously though G and I wish you and Carole Ann all the best for Christmas and the New Year.
Have a Good'n
