Mr B - Many thanks.

Mike - Great to hear from you. It ‘s a lovely figure and using the Paris prints as reference was great idea. Glad to hear that the mistakes weren’t all my fault though! He’s safe as he is - the idea of a rowdy Cossack misbehaving in the French capital. I enjoyed painting this one so much that I’ve ordered your Confederate cavalry officer - plenty of reference for that one.

Serge - Wow! Thanks so much for the great reference material. I know who to turn to for my next Cossack. Many thanks for taking the time.

Nap - Completely agree. Part of what makes this such great forum.

Glad the information is helpful. And i'll be happy to help to the best of my ability if you have any questions in the future.

Afternoon Peter
You are really rocking the blues and reds, superb finish.
Well done.
Late again, just catching up, as on parole from a 1 week sentence to hard labour in the attic!
This moving lark is a real pain in the back/A$*e, both literally and figuratively..
Anna is a hoarder extraordinaire and will not part with hardly anything!
Her poor memory is my ally, as she can't remember what she had stashed up there!
And wont miss it when it gets taken to the tip/charity shop LOL
The escape line is via the garage, another place she rarely frequents!
Have fun with the next figure
Enjoy the better weather, heatwave soon!
Regards
Steve H

Afternoon Steve
It certainly sounds as though you've got your hands full. Katherine is also a hoarder and has even started checking the recycling bin to see what I haven't thrown away anything useful. You have my sympathies.

Glad you like the false Cossack.
