"If you were born in a stable, does not make you a horse" He hated being referred to as Irish. They also changed their name from Wesley to Wellesley to distance themselves from the methodists, who were I believe related. They had some serious hangups.

Here we go .......
I kept looking at the portraits of the man and then at various versions painted ...in particular the area above the what will be crimson bow on the Golden Fleece order
Then looked at the sculpt .......it just drove me crazy I could find nothing 100% relating to the sculpted area in portraits or any where else to the way it’s sculpted ie references to the actual award .......so ......
I’d base coated the piece before deciding to change it
Added a extremely thin piece of magisculpt ....after some careful sanding ..then added the top piece
Then added the lower side scrolls
Added detail in the top
Reworked the shell shape
In reality doesn’t look too bad I’m happy
I will detail using paint effects ...no need to leave while alone before I finish this bust off
Yes...I know ....mad as a box of frogs ...lol

Unfortunately I think you have modelled the Austrian version rather than the Spanish one, sorry.
Nothing that a bit of paint won't sort out as they are very close.
