oh cool, i better save up cause it's $60 AUS.. I have got a couple 40k figures but i want to really practice my skin tones but i think i will buy this one when i have a bit more experience ;)

As this is the only figure I've manged to paint for ages, I thought i'd join in the fun of posting again, I know he's a bit rough, but I really enjoyed painting him. I've touched up a few of the rough bits since these were taken yesterday.
Honest feedback appreciated

For some reason, this figure makes me laugh. Beautiful paint job on an incredibly gross figure. I gotta buy me one of these.

Wow, you bought this back from the dead. The skin tones are done AMAZINGLY! All I would like to know though is, what and how did you paint the cloth covering his a**?

:D His pants are just painted with GW foundation calthan brown and mixed with khemri brown with some vallejo ivory thrown in for highlights. I'm trying to transfer to vallejo paints and a few andrea, as I sold my foundry paints, and still need to get some good colour triads going.

Thanks for the replies, he is a bit funny:D but bursting with charactor and the accessories that come with the box are superb. I will definately be getting another one to paint, there are about 5 different heads to choose from and arms etc

tonydawe, thanks for the compliment, much appreciated.

Thanks, I will try and work out exactly how I did the skin as I cant replicate it at the moment, but it was definately the andrea skin tones pack

Well once I finish my current project and the French Currasier, I might get one of these guys. Really depends on what happens at the time. I am slowly making the switch to vallejo paints but if I knew they where good in the first place, I wouldn't have bought Citadels.

Vallejo Game colour is good for my needs also :)
