What is around his left biceps/ triceps, please? Not seen this before. Nicely executed pose, too.
 
Will this be the blue field blouse? (Fliegerbluse) with matching trousers.


In the original preliminary post it mentioned an unusual cut down specially tailored jump smock (the photo illustrating this now
seems to have disappeared though). In which case it would have been the appropriate splinter pattern camouflage - would it not ?

Saw this in the flesh at the Perth show , an excellent sculpt with suitable arrogant pose. Not my normal period of interest but I would definitely paint this one. Cheers David

Hi Mike,
Actually it could be a cut-down smock in mottled green , in splinter pattern or water pattern - the Fallschirmjäger used what was available.
Here's a modified mottled green smock (with added loops for flare gun cartridges):

Hi Everyone thanks for the comments, its based on a mannequin located at ther dead mans corner museum in Normandy, yes its a cut down jump smock
