Made a start on this superb piece from from Stormtrooper. Not my usual era, but the sculpt and quality of the casting made me want to have a go.:sneaky:The canteen needs a lot more doing yet.
Carl.

WOOO:eek: You did not waste much time there mate, cracking start(y). I took mine out last night and had a good look at it, another outstanding sculpt from Moz and 1st rate casting from Stu at Stormtroopers.

Carl......slow down(y) Looks like a great piece, mate. This and the new Dacian bust are on my list for MMSI. So I'm hoping Chuck brought a few back with him. I really like the look of the oilskin on the helmet. Can you share your colour mixes? What do use for an undercoat.

Paul

Thanks for having a look chaps. Here the reference I'm using Tommi.
Carl.

Thanks for the info Carl. I am going to paint the new Pegaso mounted lancer which has not been officially released yet so any colour referance at this point will be great.

Cheers
Tommi

Hey Houseman, so when are you going to tell me about Euro? Inquiring minds
want to know. . . o_Oo_O drum roll please, . .. will there be news at Eleven?

All kiddin' aside mate, you're doing a splendid job of painting this very
well sculpted head. And the rendering of the face and eyes is just so realistic.

Well done, my friend. (y)(y)

Paul, I used black auto primer for this. The oilskin is Vallejo Panzer tank crew black, that's really a dark grey. Highs with ivory and shaded with black. Thanks again to everyone that has taken the time to post, I should have an update soon,
Carl.
