Thanks a lot David. Here's a little update, I'm in two minds about going further with the highlights on the tunic.

Looks great Carl. I think if you went any further with the highlights it wouldn't look natural, I'd leave it where it is.

Carl, soft tunic with smooth transitions. To my paint style is ok, but for you I think you can go further with one more light in the higher points of the tunic, but like I say before is ok by me.

You could try taking the shadows back a notch, that would increase the contrast somewhat?

Carl,you have achieved great progress mate,i think you need to be careful with anymore lights on the tunic as you will start to lose the dark blue finish,i think its ok as it is.

Superwork Carl, just super. Dont think I would touch the highlights at all, they look pretty good to me.
Saw this bust at Euro and am amazed you have got to this stage already. I'm still at the playing with the boxes stage.
