WIP 17th Light Dragoon from Ellie's Miniatures

Hi Guys ,

Got round to prepping up and base coating this gem from Ellie's ...it is ofcourse the sculpt by Offo ...easy cleanup just added a couple of rosettes on the epaulettes ...well just to be a little different !!

Lots of white here all different base colours .......

........to be honest I am waiting for the box art so I can go and cry at the skilled painting of that !!!...using it as a bit of a reference as well ....so come on Ian we are all waiting !!!


Just the one picture will update this once I have finished the other WIP on the bench!!!( working between the 2 )

Any comments but no laughing as he looks possessed by the devil at the moment..LOL

Thanks For the box art looks great like the helmet version of all brass ...reckon I might change mine from black leather to that.

Hi Guys,

Got round to doing a bit more on this piece , now progressed further including more work on the fleshtones , with all the helmet finished except the turban and the horsehair ..that's for today , then the hair eyebrows etc , collar

Really enjoying this and looking forward to the whites..NOT!!!!

Must admit the box art is a true inspiration

Might put a brass wash over the helmet parts ....get one Ellie did a great job of the casting as well .
