This is my WIP on the CGS Military French Empress Dragoon Officer
Sculpted by Moz Corry
Painted in oils and acrylics
Minimal clean up and perfect casting as usual

The turban around the helmet on the real thing was made from Jaguar fur

Nice detailing but isn’t the turban leopard skin, (like Teresa May’s famous shoes)? Seems more likely as Jaguars are South American big cats.

I thought that but I did some research and found that some were jaguar. Obviously brought back from voyages to South America. Then again, I suppose it could be open to interpretation. I usually do leopard skin on the helmets but went for a change.
