Very tasty work indeed , like the way the lacework has been done, do you use washes as well ?

Gaiters ...well enough to say .......the king of whites strikes again !!

Great to see these gems really coming together now

As for the chateau ...don't forget the ornamental gardens as well !

Happy house building

Thanks Kev, i really appreciate your encouraging words mate.
Yes, of course, the garden will be an important part of the decor, not the main pavillion at versailles but the idea is to make one of the adjacent buildings to thebpalace for some of the high rank officers of the nobility or princes .
Thenscene i have in mind is some of the swiss next to the door being reviewed by an officer, while the French guards ( which they guarded the outside of the palace and buildings ) will be at attention while the officer's staff is addresing them for inspection before they resume their duties.
A little further away will be the musketeers on horseback going in a column with the gendarmes following them few meters behind, probably horsing back to their stables or for a formation near the Palace.
That is what i envision......

Remarkable painting on such a small scale Daniel. Well done. This is such an unrepresented era in figure modelling and painting, yet it offers so much. Thank you for promoting it.

Chris

Thanks Chris,
I think that ther eis a lot that have been done on the SYW era, at least lately on the wargaming world they have lots of stuff.
I am not a wargaming chap but these 28mm range offers far more options than the 40mm range, hopefuly the 40mm range will get more popular amongst the miniature world.
Best regards

Hi Daniel
I had a couple of weeks in the UK to sell off our caravan and other stuff. Caught up with my Daughter and Grandsons that's always good. The vacation is in two weeks time.
Cheers Mate
Keith

He is a real cracker mate.
Not that I can achieve it but for me detail is king. You have hit it in abundance Mate.
Having followed your work for a good few years I feel qualified to comment on the great progress you have made in your painting skills. Press on Daniel
