the colors are vibrant and well executed lights and shadows so far.

Thanks very much Daniel, yes the end is near. I will probably go for some further highlights then it's time to tidy all those messy little areas up and then put her in the cabinet.

P.S. I have yet again wimped out on my resolution to try acrylics and have started on my latest figure in oils
I suppose the acrylics will have to wait 'till I start on something I can just chuck back in the pot when I go wrong!

I changed over from acrylics to oils fairly recently Gary and am pleased I did.

It's not that I'm dissatified with oils, it's just that I see the great results people get with acrylics and I wonder if they might suit me? ( I know I know , it's the painter not the paint) but then again.................
