Does anyone have any idea who makes or made this particular figure? It represents an 18th century British soldier from around the 7 Years War and stands a little shy of a foot and is made of resin. I purchased it a great price on Ebay but in my haste noticed its missing his bayonet and hangar baldric. Im going over alternative for a replacement baldric in that scale i.e. 3D printing, etc.

Hi West Joe

Great find there ...thought it might be David Griev but size is too big

Will you be repainting it ?

You might like to try Steve Reedees he makes great weapons of various scales

Various gift companies have produced models in this sort of scale and quality over the years. I suspect that might be the origin of this figure but no idea who made it.

Try scouring the 1/6 scale action figure market on the internet for the missing parts as the scale should match and the 1/6 market produce a lot of items for many different periods.

As arj says ( thanks for the mention Andrew ), I do have some 1/6th things that might help, such as a hanger hilt. You would have to make the scabbard from plastikard or similar. But just as common would be the bayonet alone, and I have just got some metal castings of 18c bayonets in their scabbards, which might do admirably. You could pm me here if interested.
