WIP 40mm Maison du Roi Cavalerie, 1750's

I have primed the figure with Vallejo white brush on primer.
Finished the head, powdered wig with bow and layed the Blue coat base color .

Amazing how adding a primer brings everything together, nice basecoating ...be interested in what colours your using for silver lacework .....looks like a brown base ?

The base color for the lace is Coal black from Pro Acryl.

Finished the lace, the red vest ( still need to work on the trousers and stockings.
Next i will outline the lace and finish the Blue coat.

Finished the blue coat with touch ups on the silver lace and red garments.
I have applied Matt spray sealer on the figure, later on i will add the buttons , build the shoes, add the sword hilt and will sculpt the St Louis cross medal for the left side of his chest.

I've finish the sword,
Initially painted Silver, bit got a reference of a sword replica for. A Senior Garde de Corps of Louis XV and is gold with the handle ( don't remember the correct word) silver.
I added the ribbon usim half of it with lead foil and the round portion using greenstuff.
I cutted lead foil pieces for the cross and added a dot made out of greenstuff in the centre.
