Can only agree there

Great conversion work and such "of the period" look on the officers

Good to see more updates on this ...the pictures really show how the troops looked , flags flying , commands being shouted , the discipline of the soldiers ...love it

Thanks for updates

I have placed the las 3 standing troopers, but realized one of the French guards flag bearer needed some reppsition for proper space, when i took him out i noticed some ares that neede some little paint enhancement and also i was not happy with the hand holding the flag pole, so, i 've replaced the hand , paint is and added some nails to it !.
Then i decided to take care of the Swiss guard flagbearer , added some coloring to the existing flag to bring a more live colors ro it and fixed some areas of the lace on the coat, still some work to do bit almost done...

Hello Planeteers ,
I have been away from these chaps for a couple weeks due ti work schedule.
I decided to continue the work on thi drummer , face is done , cuff painted with lace ( buttoms still to be placed) , hat done.
I've place the drum and added the hands holding it , added the strap on the bottom of the drum and repainted the drum case in a slight darker blue than before , the reason for it is that i am adding King Louis XV 's Coat of Arms on it.
At the time, Regimental drums were hand painted with the coat of Arms of the Regiment' Colonel or Royal Symbols.
The Royal coat of Arms is the one of France and Navarrre as it was the title of King Louis XV.

Hello folks ,
Starting m work on another "special piece" for this diorama.
This Gallant Sergeant 's pose i have veen looking for a while and decided to use one of the standing figures to convert.
I have started by adding a little bit og heat to the figure in order to make it easy to bend the metal, clipped off his cartridge box , thwt made easier to cut more metal between the cuff and uniform, then heated up that are a little and moved the right arm ( left sife of pic) away and bent it up a little.
Fixed the areas using a mix of greenstuff and magic sculp.
The next steps are building the front , add the lace, buttons and then creste the flaps of the cuffs and shirt cuff...

Hi Daniel

Great to see you able to post always look forward to seeing more...despite missing some updates..apologies!

You have been busy my friend ...the drummer just looks awesome , lovely detail work as always especially the lace and a fine version of the painting

The Sgt ...well I don't know how you convert so well in this scale ....very clever putty pushing and the painting is coming on well

Will you add the fellow levelling the Regt line ?

Thanks for sharing

Thanks for your comments my friend,
And yes, i am working on the sergeant leveling the troopers next.
Tomorow i am placing the sergeant on the Battlefield and start conversion on the other sergeant.

While i am waitimg on the delivery of the figure to convert as the secind sergeant dressimg the line, i am takimg anotge Brit to turn him into the French fashion and splendour of the lace wars...
Converting this chap will take just few items i meed to get rid of and add all of the lace on the coat and plumes on the hat.
