Hi Daniel

Nice blue on him , looking good and full of character

He would also make a great bust ...imagine the lacework in 1/10th !

Thanks for the updates

Happy benchtime

Can't wait to see one of these Drummers as a Bust.
Take care my friend.

Back to work on these little fellas after a couple weeks , shelves collapsed on my workbench , many finished figures will have to be glued some parts, it sucks but that prompted me to get a new workbench and reorganize my entire work area.
First use of my new bench and working on the Livreé Royal or king's Livery lace..

Hi Daniel

OMG , nightmare ref shelves , sorry to hear this , with your skill you will sort the injuries out

As for this beauty , looks very work on the lacing ...as I expected , still find it hard to believe how much detail the smaller scales have

Thanks for sharing the update , look forward to seeing more

Happy new benchtime

Thank you Kev and Steve,
The recovery of broken figures is still in the works, but happy to have a new workbench and sometimes when things happen something better come up of it :)

Thanks Kev, trying to capture the "Air" of these chaps as well as the efdecto of the original painting...

I have finished this drummer today, he was 80% done and it was time to bring him to the fray.
I adapted the drum from a left out figure , added a left hand over the drum and used wire for the drum sticks and putty for the drum sticks ends..

Hi Daniel

Your certainly catching the "air" ...lovely painting and now the drummer marches onto the ground ....like the hand positioning, and the painting of him , good fleur de lys on the drum

Thanks for update and more views of the battle field

Just a question did you wargame as well ?

Happy benchtime

Thanks Kev,
I hace never wargame , i am more of the Historical Miniature display like.

Started another conversion , tgis is going to be the officer on horseback ( arrow) .
I have used a left out figure from Triguard, a French general .
Got rid of the head and right arm , built some areas of the coat and added the lace with lead foil and a bare head which i sculpted his wig.

As if i don't have enough work with these fellas, i have received an additiional 12 troopers .
The are Brits that i will convert to French Guards simce Triguard Miniatures still does not have French Guards kneeling at ready.
I am adding a French triooer head and french hands with musket, they properly into these chaps.
I had to clip some metal parts , sanding and fixed some areas with a mix of Magic sculp and Brownstuff.
