Typical soldiers you find one and then rest invite themselves along!

Cheers Simon

Indeed,
I remember when we were out of the Academy Fridays, a couple of them always end up inviting themselves to my house, my parents were not very happy havimg to host 3 hungry sailors all weekend.

Hahah , you will have your answer on my next post Kev ;-)

I layed the basic colors for the first 3 chaps.
One is the Marquis de La Fayette in the typical high rank Continental Officer, dark blue with Buff facimgs.
I decided to paimt one officer in the Maryland Regiment, Dark blue coat with red Facings.
The other figure is a Militia Officer, i was eager to paint a brown coat with yellow or red facings.
Here are my references...

Nice start with quite a bit of variety amongst them, they will certainly add interest on the diorama.

Hi Kev,
In my humble opiniin the book is not worth it, the illustratiions are Amazing, but at least on the French uniforms i can tell you there are many inaccuracies.
As for our wide legged man, he wouldn't find a horse ( poor Lad) I have better plans....
