Just finished this awesome figure from Pegaso. It was set on the market by Pegaso to celebrate there 20th year. It was a limited edition and this is figure number 008/299
Research was done by Marco Colombelli and the sculpting is from Ebroin.
There was a excellent fitting from the parts, a little cleanup on the metals. The flag is made in resin.
It was a joy to paint this, and my love for square's is become greater.
Btw: I saw some shortcomings into the badge and correct it after the pictures were taken. The digital camera allowed no mistakes ;):D
So any good or bad comment is allowed. I'm still into the learning proces.

Looks great Marc. I must get back to work on mine; started but not finished.

Hi Marc.

Very nice work on the great figure. Tartan is amazing indeed.

Cheers Borek

Well done Marc. Not many would be brave enough to start this, and some wouldn't finish it.
painting one of these is never easy and you can consider this a good job.

Marc, please let me know. Did you do this from 'start to finish', like a normal figure, or do one part, leave it and then return? I only ask as after painting so many straight lines you might need a break.

I started this at EME in Folkstone. As you know I try to paint every evening 1 - 2 hours. The flag was painted apart. For the tartan I paint it in 3 evenings. First the dark blue, after over night into the drybox the green with highlighting. Last step the black lines.
Flag is painted also in steps. Started this also in Folkstone.
When I paint the tartan I immediately started the Glengarry. That's a small piece.
If the lines aren't straight I took a sup of Belgium Beer. The further the evening in painting, the glass became empty, but the lines went straighter :D
